Richardson Vision Clinic was established in May 1962 when Dr. Walt L. Richardson graduated from Pacific University. His son, Dr. Brad C. Richardson joined the practice in 1988 after graduating from Pacific University and carries the tradition of caring service utilizing state-of-the-art testing equipment established by his father. Dr. Walt Richardson retired from practice in 1992.

Richardson Vision Clinic includes the consolidation of practices from fellow Pacific University Alumni practices of Dr. Allen Pollock, Dr. Tom Ambler, and Dr. Greg Kautz.

Dr. Brad C. Richardson is a life-long member of the Forest Grove community. He graduated from Forest Grove High School in 1976. He married Lucie Turgeon of Vald 'Or, Quebec, Canada in 1980 and has four children. Two of his children are currently attending Brigham Young University.
